Deferral of 2021 Taxes and Taxation of Golf Courses (Councillor Bokenfohr)
Proposed Motion
1. That Council defer the collection of taxes for tax rolls 71003, 71004, 121000, 85000, 86000, 3516000, 3517001, 192000, 203000, 972000, 1288000, 1292000, 1296000, 1296001, 1653000, 2093000, 2834000, 2839001, 4764000, and 5149000 to October 29, 2021.
2. That Council direct Administration to investigate how golf courses in Sturgeon County are taxed, including a comparison with other seasonal businesses within Sturgeon County and a jurisdictional scan with comparator municipalities, to be presented no later than the August 24, 2021 Council meeting.
