Update to Subsidized Dust Suppression Treatment 2021

 

Proposed Motion

1. That Council approve the addition of locations identified in Attachment 1 for fully subsidized dust suppression treatment in front of residences in 2021, and for the additional cost of $70,800 to be funded from the General Operating Reserve.

2. That Council approve an additional subsidy of $205 per residence for dust suppression treatment as identified in Attachment 2, and for the additional cost of $27,768 to be funded from the General Operating Reserve.

3. That Council authorize the release of $55,390 from the General Operating Reserve to fund unanticipated mineral oil product price increase.
