Municipal Affairs Request to Hold Senate Selection and Referenda Votes on Behalf of Alexander First Nation

 

Proposed Motion

That Council direct Administration to send a letter to Municipal Affairs in response to the request for Sturgeon County to hold Senate and referenda votes on behalf of Alexander First Nation in conjunction with the 2021 municipal election requesting that Municipal Affairs consult with Alexander First Nation to ensure that this proposal will allow for inclusive participation for First Nation voters.
