Deputy Mayor Comeau - Advocacy at the 2020 Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Conference

 

Proposed Motion

1. That Council direct that a letter be sent to rural municipalities in Alberta to gauge support in hosting an Alberta reception at the 2020 Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference where Alberta’s rural municipalities can inform and educate conference delegates about Alberta and build further inter-provincial and national relationships.

 

2. That Council approve up to $10,000 from the Council Contingency Reserve to fund Sturgeon County’s contribution to the 2020 Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference Advocacy Event.
