1. That Council accept the recommendations of the Transportation Advisory Committee as information.

* Review the speed limit on Cardiff Road between Range Road 250 (the railway tracks) and Highway 28;

* Review inspection practices and procedures as part of an assessment of how the County delivers on its weed inspection policy;

* Facilitate more public focused participatory engagements as it relates to road infrastructure and maintenance initiatives;

* Continue to innovate and utilize technology to enhance service delivery.

3. That Council direct Administration to:

* Explore feasibility and options for introducing advance local road signage on major roadways such as highway connectors;

* Continue with the gravel roads shoulder compaction/stabilization pilot project and consider adopting the initiative as an ongoing annual practice within the gravel road maintenance program;

* Examine the benefits of instituting alternative maintenance strategies for CN Rail’s gravel road crossings; and

* Bring cost implications and options of these recommendations to Council for consideration as part of the 2020 budget process.
