Modernizing Sturgeon County’s Workforce Potential, Office Space and Community Events

 

Proposed Motion

1. That Council approve Sturgeon County’s phased approach for re-opening Sturgeon County facilities and services.

2. That Council direct Administration to develop a service enhancement for consideration in Budget 2021 for the acquisition of a new Agricultural trailer and improvements to the Agriculture compound.

3. That Council direct Administration to develop a service enhancement for consideration in Budget 2021 regarding renovations to the County Centre front counter, incorporating considerations for future building renovations.

4. That Council cancel the 2020 Agricultural Service Board Tour, postpone a decision on the 2020 Mayor’s State of the County Address to the August 11, 2020 Council meeting, and support a virtual offering of the Culinary Cookout if feasible.

5. That Council endorse the attached Memo regarding event venue permitting - temporary and ongoing.
